Well ubuntu was never my cup of tea from the moment of installation(had partitioning issues,ATi driver issues)i formatted the ext3 drive and corrupted GRUB.Since GRUB was loading both ubuntu and windows it was giving some kinda error, tries to retrieve all the data with a windows OS Disk but couldn’t do so;so had to re-install the OS without even considering the fact that i hadn’t backed up my NFS and PoP saves
Now i have to play all over again !!!
Now i’ve decided to keep windows on my laptop and install Ubuntu on my home PC once i get back. For one,i won’t have any issues since i don’t have any ATi cards installed since its shared and most my hardware is compatible.I’m having various options right now
1)Get Mac Mini and make it as a home media server in my room
2)Install Windows Vista on my Home PC and get a 320GB harddisk and put it up for Home Media Server
3)Install Ubuntu and use it for Home Applications.
Once i decide i’ll probably get to working on it once i get home.
